CAS Life

After School Activities

There are three activity sessions per year preceded by distribution of activity program brochures and sign-up sheets.

The CAS Activities Program is coordinated by the Activities Coordinator and the Athletic Director. Teaching staff members participate in leading an activity on a by trimester basis..

Lower School

Extracurricular activities are offered at morning and lunch recesses and after school, and generally include choral groups and intramural sports.Activities may also be organized on an ad-hoc basis when there is demonstrated student interest. These may take the form of clubs or practices for dramatic or musical presentations.

There is one standing activity: the Lower School Student Council (LSSC) which is composed of representatives from Grades 3-5. The Student Council meets once a week to discuss issues of concern to Lower School students, make recommendations regarding rules and regulations and to plan activities to promote school spirit. The Lower School Student Council is active in charity work, organizing toy, clothes and food collections for underprivileged children and families.
