Welcome from the Director:
Last year our School Planning Goals were revisited and refined to reflect a mission and values statement encompassing three essential elements. These goals include:
- Quality learning and teaching ;
- The development of the whole child as reflected in the CAS dispositions ;
- A focus on literacy as preparation for the IB program.
Collectively, these goals and values form the basis for our learning community at CAS and are a strong guide for both professional teacher practice and the development of the partnership among parents, teachers, and students that is critical for the achievement of academic excellence. CAS is a learning environment that focuses on supporting the qualitative (quality) features of student learning and does so within a context that promotes the development of the essential dispositions of creativity, enthusiasm for learning for its own sake, reflection, respect, and responsibility.
As you read through the website, I hope you will sense the family nature and positive energy that surrounds and permeates CAS. Regardless of what continent, nationality, or cultural background one comes from, our goal is to provide an educational experience that meets the academic, social, and emotional need of every student. This year, we continue with our professional development emphasis on differentiating learning for each student in order to realize this goal, especially as this relates to the development of literacy skills that prepare students for the challenging IB curriculum. Our Nursery-12 educational program is based on the best North American curriculum models, and the substantial International Baccalaureate program gives our students a course of study that is recognized around the world for its rigor and excellence.
If after reviewing the website, you don’t find the information that you are seeking please use the contact information to telephone or email or even better, come for a visit. We look forward to showing you how our programs, facility, and school culture continue to contribute toward the realization of our vision to be the leading academic prepatory school in North Africa.

Director
