The Casablanca American School libraries are busy and valuable places for our entire community. The Lower School Library is located on level 2 of the lower school building in the heart of the campus. It is a beautiful, pleasant space and provides a rich variety of resources for reading and discovery. Classes are scheduled on a regular basis to develop research skills, explore and read for pleasure.

The Upper School Library is situated along the north breezeway in the Randolph building. With several thousand books, CD-ROMs, videocassettes and DVDs, six computers with access to the Internet, periodical publications and two web-based databases, the library is well suited to serve its students, faculty, employees and parents. We collaborate with faculty who frequently bring their classes to the library for research and for instruction in library use. Because an active library is clearly synonymous with a rigorous education our libraries strive to become an integral part of the school curriculum. Our mission is to promote a love of reading, to help everyone become effective users of ideas and information and to develop information literacy by acquiring strong research and inquiry skills.

All community members are welcome to visit our libraries and enjoy our collection of books, magazines and electronic resources. Two full-time staff are available for assistance in both facilities. We hope to see you in the library often!
