Music Fun Day 2019

Music Fun Day was arguably the event of the year in 2019! The entire Lower and Upper School joined forces in 4 teams to compete in a series of games with the grand prize of winning the honor of dumping the ice bucket challenge on the CAS principals. This fun-filled, jam-packed day started with a concert from various classes and music groups in our school - even the teachers! Followed by games, a BBQ, and too many laughs. This event was organized and run entirely by the incredible PTC. They handled everything from A- Z, from event set-up and decoration to taking turns grilling at the BBQ. We are so grateful for the amazing work they do, ensuring our students end the school year with a bang! 

Halloween 2019

Another event to remember, this Halloween party was one for the books! Organized and run by the CAS Parent Teacher Committee, our school was spoiled with a Halloween party unlike no other. Some exciting elements were a haunted house, food vendors, zombie dancers, zombie make-up artists, a surprise Thriller flash mob, games, a DJ, and lots of spooks!

Teacher Christmas Breakfast

The Teacher  Christmas breakfast is just a small example of how the PTC at CAS goes above and beyond for making our staff feel valued and little taste of home (for those who celebrate Christmas). Teaching is no easy job and it's gestures like this that help make work just a bit easier. Throughout the year, the PTC organizes various tokens of appreciation for teachers. This appreciation breakfast was a beautiful breakfast spread of both sweet and savory dishes and no shortage of coffee! Teachers were gifted with their own Christmas mug and santa hat too.
