Our middle school volleyball teams recently had the privilege of participating in an exceptional training session with two remarkable coaches: Eric Hodgson from USA Volleyball and Mahassine Siad, a Moroccan National Team Indoor and Beach Volleyball player.
Eric Hodgson, known for his inspirational coaching philosophy, has dedicated over 30 years to the sport. Starting his journey by coaching young athletes, he has become a renowned mentor for youth volleyball. Eric focuses on creating positive experiences for players, believing that engagement and enjoyment are crucial for fostering a lifelong love of the game. His emphasis on balancing technical development with fun has left a lasting impression on our young athletes.
Joining Eric was Mahassine Siad, a celebrated Moroccan athlete with achievements in both indoor and beach volleyball. Mahassine has represented Morocco on numerous occasions, including earning a bronze medal in the 2019 African Games for indoor volleyball and a silver medal in the 2022 African Beach Volleyball Championships alongside her teammate Imane Yakki. Her dedication to the sport and her success on both national and international stages inspired our students.
This unique session not only helped our Cobras refine their skills but also provided a memorable opportunity to learn from two experts who embody the values of teamwork, perseverance, and passion for volleyball.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Eric and Mahassine for their invaluable contributions and for motivating our young athletes to reach new heights.
Go Cobras!
