Last week, Casablanca American School had the privilege of hosting Dr. Ian Russell, a renowned expert from the United States, for a series of impactful conferences on child protection. These sessions, tailored for parents, staff, and students, addressed the importance of fostering safe, inclusive, and supportive environments within and beyond our school community.

In a special session for parents, Dr. Russell shed light on how families can play a proactive role in safeguarding children. He provided practical strategies to identify and address potential risks while emphasizing the importance of open communication and building trust within the family.

The conference also included a dedicated workshop for our staff, where Dr. Russell discussed best practices for child protection in educational settings. His guidance focused on creating policies, understanding student behavior, and maintaining vigilance in ensuring a secure learning environment.
